General membership meetings are the second Monday of the month at 1:00pm (September - May)
The Executive Board meets the first Tuesday of the month at 1:00pm (September - May)
Dues are $35 per year single, $38 per year couple
The aim of our club is to....
promote the knowledge and love of gardening,
encourage the art of flower arranging,
aid in the protection of native trees, plants, birds and butterflies,
encourage civic planting and the general beautification of our area, and
to provide resources to promote the education of the youth in our community.
The Garden Club of Crystal River is dedicated to....
studying horticulture and the artistic use of plant materials,
protecting and conserving natural resources,
promoting civic service and roadside beautification,
advancing the study of gardening and floral design, and
the study of gardening as an art, a science and a hobby.
Our club was founded May 11, 1971 and was affiliated May 2, 1972 with the Federated Garden Clubs of Florida.
We are a 501(c)(4) organization, affiliated with the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs and the National Garden Club, Inc. We are also a member of the Deep South Garden Club.
